Mid-level Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger and sub-ledger management, and preparation of financial statements;
• Utilize accounting systems to perform monthly data reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all accounts; verify consistency between physical inventory records and system data (e.g., Kingdee);
• Lead overall tax planning for the company; review and approve monthly VAT and Corporate Income Tax filings, with appropriate risk control measures;
• Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives; analyze expense reimbursements, product costs, inventory levels, and inventory turnover to support cost optimization;
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely collection;
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and budgets to support effective cash management;
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, tax authorities, and third-party service providers to safeguard the company’s interests;
• Manage daily operations of the finance department and collaborate closely with sales and operations teams;
• Ensure tax compliance through proper tax planning and timely filing of tax returns;
• Participate in the design and implementation of financial policies and procedures, and optimize tax management processes;
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making;
• Assist in financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in tax-related matters;
• Enforce financial policies and monitor compliance in daily financial operations;
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of corporate finance systems, with strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial management practices;
• Proficient in financial and tax software, with the ability to independently resolve accounting and tax-related issues;
• Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or WPS); detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently;
• Proactive, responsible, and able to efficiently complete assigned tasks;
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset, with a high sense of accountability and willingness to learn;
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Accounting Qualification Certificate, CPA) are preferred; candidates with a Master’s degree or extensive practical experience will be considered favorably.
